Dosing
- Typical dose
- Label titration (Wegovy): 0.25 mg weekly for 4 weeks, then 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.7 mg, each for 4 weeks, reaching 2.4 mg weekly maintenance.

- Subcutaneous injection (abdomen, thigh or upper arm)

Possible side effects
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation
- Reduced appetite and possible muscle loss without adequate protein and resistance training
- Rare: pancreatitis, gallbladder disease
